Thats the one thing I miss about fallout, the radio. I’ve been playing Skyrim, and I keep wanting to turn on music.

I met up with a friend of mine before watching a band play, and we spent 40 minutes talking video games. Things like how excited we were for Skyrim, how it was going to compare to other elder scrolls/bethesda games, Fallout NV DLC, Assassin’s creed, Skyward Sword, Saints row, ME3. Just basic fangasming over all of the awesome games coming out and games we love and enjoy playing. Then the conversation switched to my horrible luck finding a new job. When she asked me if I had gotten a second part time job, I blurted out, “No, I haven’t hit god tier yet.” The guy sitting next to us got up, hugged us both and said, “This is the greatest conversation I have ever overheard women having in a bar.”
We ended up chatting with him for 10 minutes before going to see the show. It was awesome. I love how video games can connect you to people you’ve never met, and would normally think you had nothing in common with. I’ve only been on tumblr for a few months, but already I’ve encountered some super cool people solely through love of certain games. You guys rock. All of you.
